Chrysler Pacifica - 2nd generation (2017-present)

The second-generation Chrysler Pacifica car went on sale in 2017. The car was built on the basis of the RU platform, which supports front-wheel drive (FWD) and four-wheel drive (AWD). While the Chrysler Voyager is only offered as a FWD, the Pacifica also has an AWD version, which was introduced in 2021. It is also worth mentioning that we have a 3.6 V6 Pentastar engine, which comes as regular gasoline and as a plug-in hybrid. In 2021, the car underwent a facelift, which appeared in dealerships since April. After the changes in the Chrysler Pacifica, the engine became a little more economical, an AWD version was added. In addition to this, there were visual changes (grill, new LED headlights and LED lamps, new wheel designs), as well as changes to the interior, which included the UConnect 5 system with a 10.1" screen (standard in versions higher than Touring), as well as the addition of a FamCam camera, which allows the driver to see what is happening behind while driving. Initially, the FamCam was optional equipment, but from 2024 it entered the list of standard equipment. 2024 also brought a new grill and in addition, in the Chrysler Pacifica, the interior received an update to the UConnect 5 multimedia system.

• 3.6 V6 Pentastar PHEV - V6 gasoline engine with plug-in hybrid drive, naturally aspirated, capacity 3604 cm3, system power 260 hp (until 2021) or 287 hp (after 2021), 16 kWh battery, range on an electric motor with a full battery 53 km, average fuel consumption when driving in hybrid mode in a combined cycle 2.9 l/100 km (EPA).

The car is offered in several trim levels that have evolved over time:

• Touring/Select (2020-2023) - has, among others, 8 airbags, rear view camera, emergency braking assistant, optional blind spot monitoring system, 3-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats with 6-way manual adjustment, UConnect 4 with 7" screen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fabric upholstery, Stow'n'go system allowing hiding the 2nd and 3rd row of seats in the floor;
• Tour/Select (from 2024) - additionally has, among others, a pedestrian detection system with emergency braking function, optionally adaptive cruise control, front seats with 8-way electric adjustment and heating, UConnect 5 system with a 10.1" screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, premium fabric upholstery, alloy wheels instead of steel;
• Touring L (from 2020) - equipment as in Touring and additionally a blind spot monitoring system, electrically opening tailgate, heated 2nd row seats;
• Limited (from 2020) - equipment as in Touring L and additionally 360 camera, Nappa leather, heated and ventilated front seats, heated 2nd and 3rd row seats, optional panoramic roof, UConnect 5 with 10.1" screen and navigation, walnut interior trim, ambient lighting;
• Pinnacle (from 2020) - equipment as in Limited and additionally 2nd row seats with massage, refrigerator, folding tables, 4-zone air conditioning with air ionization, Burmester High-End 4D audio with 15 speakers, Nappa leather, suede headliner, special bumper designs.

There are also several special and limited versions:

• Chrysler Pacifica Red S Edition - production from 2018 to 2023, equipment includes, among others, Touring L package, sports seats, black 20" wheels, Red S emblems;
• Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle with Sepia Interior - production since 2022, the equipment includes elements from the Pinnacle version, plus leather upholstery in sepia color, premium trim;
• Chrysler Pacifica 35th Anniversary Edition - production in 2021, limited to 2000 units, equipment such as in Limited and to this premium audio set, special emblems, 20 “rims.

Each of the special versions had visual changes, but no changes that would increase the power of the engine or the entire drive in the case of the PHEV version.
