The 5th generation RAV4 for the US market is offered with a 2.5 engine, as a hybrid version and as a plug-in hybrid, the latter of which is manufactured in Japan and imported into the USA. The total power of the set here is as much as 302 hp, which is 82 hp more than in the soft hybrid. The declared range of the plug-in hybrid when driving on an electric motor is a maximum of 75 km.

For the gasoline engine, 5 versions of equipment have been prepared, and for hybrid drives there are 4 versions of equipment. As standard, customers receive, among others, a 7-inch touchscreen display and the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 system.
