Dodge Challenger from USA
Dodge Challenger is one of America's most popular muscle cars and one of the icons of American motoring. It's hard to believe that only three generations of this car appeared, one of which was based on... Mitsubishi. If you are looking for a masculine, fleshy, eye-catching car from other users of the expensive car, then the Dodge Challenger from the USA is just for you! You will find it in the offer of Bryki from America.
Dodge Challenger — 1969-1974
The name Challenger first appeared in 1959 and was used to refer to a variant of the Dodge Coronet car. Only in 1969 the car was presented as a separate model. Chrysler wanted a sports car and that was the Dodge Challenger. Dimensions significantly differed from sports ones, if we take into account European standards. However, he quickly became a serious player and was sighed by customers on both sides of the ocean.
The Challenger shared the platform with the Charger as well as with the Plymouth Barracuda. It was offered in two versions — as a coupe and a convertible. Although it was sold for only 4 years, it had a large range of engines and new changes and improvements were introduced every year.
In 1971, larger bumpers were introduced, which was dictated by changes in federal regulations. In versions with V8 engines, the hood has acquired a more rounded shape. The 426 HEMI engine was discontinued, and the 440 Magnum was weakened to 350 hp. Air conditioning has appeared in the list of equipment.
In 1972, the bumpers were again changed, they became more massive and convex. This time the change was very noticeable. The number of indicators on the dashboard has been reduced. The range of engines with which the Dodge Challenger was offered was revised again. This made the combustion a bit smaller to meet federal regulations.
In 1973, the roof and windows were reinforced to increase the rigidity of the car. Bumpers have become more protruding. Reduced power in V8 engines.
In 1974, changes were made to the bumpers and the materials from which they were made. The 440 Magnum engine was discontinued, and power was again reduced in the remaining versions.

Dodge Challenger — 2008-2023
We deliberately omit the second generation of the Dodge Challenger model. The technical characteristics of this car were far from exciting, because it was based on Mitsubishi. The real Challenger returned only in 2008, it was built on the Chrysler LX platform, which was the base for the Chrysler 300C and Dodge Charger. The car was offered with V6 and V8 engines. For all the years of production, the car did not undergo major changes in appearance, but only new special versions and engines were added.
