We decided to find out which cars from the USA up to PLN 50 thousand are worth bringing. We have selected 12 models from different categories. In our ranking, we assumed that the amount of PLN 50 thousand is not only to be spent on a car (regardless of the condition), and additionally includes transport to Poland, customs fees and VAT.

BMW X3 F25 (2015-2017)
Poles love SUVs, Americans too, so there is a large selection of this type of car and in addition you can buy them at attractive prices. An example would be the luxurious compact SUV BMW X3. At a price of up to PLN 50 thousand, you can count on cars from 2015-2017, i.e. after facelift. The grill was redesigned, the air intakes in the bumpers were enlarged and the iDrive system with an 8.8" screen and a faster processor was used.
The version we recommend is the xDrive28i with a 2.0 turbo engine with 240 hp and an 8-speed automatic with paddles at the steering wheel. It's the perfect choice between the comfort and driving experience that a sports car will give you. For this, it can be equipped, among others, with dual-zone air conditioning and parking sensors. The purchase price of the car itself is PLN 24-32 thousand.
Ford Edge II gen. (2018)
The Ford Edge is a car with a spacious interior that you will appreciate when you cover longer routes. The car in the version we chose was offered in Europe, but available only with diesel engines. In the US, this model is also available with gasoline units. In 2018, the car underwent a facelift. The appearance of the grill has been refreshed, full LED lighting has been added, and the automatic transmission is operated with a convenient knob. There is also an 8" touch screen with SYNC 3.
The variant we recommend is the one with a 2.0 EcoBoost engine with 250 hp. In the budget set by us, it will have, among others, manual air conditioning, a steering seat with manual adjustment in 6 directions, a rear-view camera and heated side mirrors. For the car itself, you will pay 28-36 thousand PLN.
Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2014-2017)
Another proposal is the iconic Jeep Grand Cherokee of the WK2 generation, which shares the platform with the Mercedes ML. This means that you can count on solid performance, a high level of driving comfort, but at the same time the manufacturer managed to preserve some off-road qualities of the car. At the same time, this is the last Jeep model, which was created in cooperation with the German concern. The version chosen by us is the copies after the facelift. In 2014, the appearance of the bumpers was changed, the 5-speed automatic was replaced with an 8-speed, and the luxurious interior received the Uconnect system with a new interface and 8.4" screen.
We recommend the Laredo variant with a 3.6 V6 engine with 295 hp. This is a well-reviewed PentaStar unit. Regularly serviced engines in this family pay off with trouble-free driving and low operating costs. The list of equipment includes, among others, dual-zone climate control, the Uconnect system with a 5" screen, an assistant for starting uphill, a driver's seat with 8-way adjustment and 17" alloy wheels. Volvo XC60 P24 (2015-2017)
Polish drivers loved the Volvo XC60 for its combination of luxury, minimalist style and solidity. This model has held the price firmly in advertisements in recent years, so it is worth bringing it from the USA. For a price of up to PLN 50 thousand, you can buy a copy after the facelift. It added xenon headlights with “Thor's hammer”, a wider grill, redesigned bumpers and a Sensus system with a 7" screen and faster software.
In the established budget, it is best to choose the T5 variant with a 2.0 turbo engine with 240 hp. In terms of equipment, you can count on, among others, dual-zone climate control, 18 “alloy wheels, automatic emergency braking system, heated mirrors and a driver's seat with 8-way adjustment. Alfa Romeo Giulia (2017-2019)
Alfa Romeo Giulia is an Italian limousine offering comfort and sporty performance. It is made of steel and aluminum, which made it possible to reduce the weight and increase the rigidity of the structure. Both of these things you will appreciate when cornering. For this, the car has a rear-axle drive. In our budget you will buy version 2.0 Base. It has a 2.0 engine with 280 hp, and in addition to this, leather and fabric seats, dual-zone climate control, 6.5" multimedia screen, rear view camera and parking sensors. For the car you will pay 28-36 thousand PLN.
BMW 3 Series F30 (2016-2018)
When looking for a compact sedan or premium station wagon, Poles are still most eager to turn to the BMW 3 Series, which they value for versatility and robustness. The car has a steel structure with aluminum doors. The version recommended by us is after the facelift, which brought, among others, adaptive LED headlights, wider grill, iDrive 5.0 system with 8.8" screen and changed suspension settings.
For a price of up to PLN 50 thousand, you can buy the 320i variant with a 2.0 turbo engine with 180 hp. It has, among others, dual-zone climate control, iDrive system with 6.5" screen, 8-way adjustable seats, 17" alloy wheels and parking sensors. The cost of buying a car is 24-32 thousand PLN.
Dodge Charger (2015-2019)
The United States is the homeland of muscle cars, so if you want to have such a vehicle, it is best to look for it in the USA. Dodge Charger began its career as a coupe, but in the 21st century it was resurrected in the body of a sedan. He was appreciated not only by civilian drivers, but also by the American police. The car is built on a steel frame and has rear-axle drive, but all-wheel drive was also offered as an option.
With an established budget, it is best to choose version 3.6 SXT. Under the hood, a proven and beloved engine from the PentaStar family works, which generates 292 hp. Equipment includes, among others, dual-zone climate control, Uconnect system with 7" screen, electrically adjustable seats, 17" alloy wheels, as well as a rear view camera. The price of such a pleasure varies in the range of 24-32 thousand PLN for the car itself.
Jaguar XF X260 (2016-2020)
The Jaguar XF is a car that completely broke with the classic shapes of the Jaguar brand and, paradoxically, became one of the sales hits of the British manufacturer. Its construction is made of 70% aluminum. It has rear-axle drive as standard, but an AWD variant was offered as an option.
For a price of up to PLN 50 thousand, you can buy a fairly well-equipped variant with the designation 25t. It has a 247 hp 2.0 turbo engine, electrically adjustable leather seats, an 8" screen with InControl system and navigation, as well as front and rear parking sensors and heated mirrors. The cost of buying the car itself is PLN 28-36 thousand.
Audi A8 D4 (2015-2017)
The Audi A8 is one of the most important German limousines. It combines modern technologies, driving comfort, above-average performance and unobtrusive design. In our budget you will buy a car of the D4 series, in the version after the facelift. In 2014, Matrix LED headlights, a wider grille were added, the bumpers were redesigned and the Audi MMI system with an 8" screen was improved.
If you have 50 thousand zł to spend, you can buy a variant with a 3.0 V6 engine with 333 hp. Equipment should include, among others, 4-zone climate control, 8" screen with Audi MMI system, leather seats with heating and electric adjustment, rear view camera, parking sensors and BOSE audio. The prices of the car itself are in the range of PLN 28-36 thousand.
Ford F150 P552 (2015)
The Ford F150 is arguably the most iconic pickup truck and the most purchased car in the US for 42 years. It is said that if the F150 became a separate brand, it could buy out Ford. In 2023 alone, 750 thousand units were sold in various body versions and configurations. In 2022, it was ranked 9th globally. Popularity also translates into a large selection of copies from the secondary market, which are offered at attractive prices. The model of the P552 series has, among others, a body made of 95% aluminum and a steel frame.
With the amount of PLN 50 thousand, you can buy the variant 5.0 XLT. The 5.0 V8 engine generates 385 hp and is paired with a 6-speed automatic. Equipment includes, among others, manual air conditioning, 8" screen with SYNC system, rear view camera, towing hook up to 5000 kg, heated mirrors and MyKey system. The cost of a car in such a configuration is 24-32 thousand PLN.
Chevrolet Camaro VI gen. (2016-2018)
Another iconic American car on our list is the Chevrolet Camaro. The sixth generation was built from scratch, and the base is the GM Alpha platform. The exterior did not change drastically, but technologically it was a completely different car. Of the noticeable changes, the most serious took place in the interior, which has acquired an avant-garde style, and its showcase are, among others, low-placed, round vents.
If you want to spend up to PLN 50,000, we recommend the 2.0 LT version with a 2.0 turbo engine with 275 hp. It has an 8-speed automatic with blades, dual-zone climate control, a MyLink system with a 7" screen, electrically adjustable seats, 18" wheels and a rear view camera. Subaru Crosstrex GT (2021-2022)
Although Subaru used to be famous primarily for its rally starts, the brand is now focused on the production of family cars that focus on versatility. Subaru Crosstrek of the GT series is the 2nd generation of this model. The car debuted in 2018 and is built on the Subaru Global Platform and is 70 percent stiffer than its predecessor. It comes only with all-wheel drive. The car weighs only about 1420 kg.
For a price of up to PLN 50 thousand, we recommend the 2.0 Base variant. Under the hood, a 2.0 Boxer engine with 152 hp works. It is paired with a CVT transmission, which has a 7-speed manual mode. Equipment includes manual air conditioning, Starlink system with 6.5" screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manually adjustable seats, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking system and rear view camera. This is a great option if you are looking for a well-equipped and young car at a good price and with low mileage. Buying a car costs 32-36 thousand PLN.
