What middle-class cars from the USA are worth bringing to Poland?

The United States is on the podium of the most popular directions, from which Poles import used cars. There is nothing surprising in this, because when buying a new car, Americans can count on significant discounts and rich equipment, which translates into lower prices with subsequent resale in the secondary market. The price differences are so large that it is profitable even to import damaged cars and repair them in Europe according to the manufacturer's technology. For our review, we chose cars from vintages from 2020, and therefore not older than 5 years.

What is segment D?

These are cars with a length of 4.6-4.9 m, which combine a spacious interior, driving comfort, dynamic driving, advanced technologies and attractive appearance. Honda Civic Touring (XI gen.)

The first proposal is Honda Civic Touring from 2022-2025. This is the highest version of this model. Under the hood, a turbocharged 1.5 engine with a capacity of 180 hp works. Toyota Camry (XV70)

For the Camry model, Americans can count on a more developed offer than European customers. This is due to the fact that this model is very popular overseas. It is famous for its spaciousness, reliability and dynamic drives. The car has a very presentable silhouette, which is why, for example, in Poland it is willingly bought as a company car for senior employees. Our proposal is Toyota Camry from USA in the XSE Hybrid version. Although under the hood there is the same set as in Europe, namely a 2.5 gasoline engine assisted by an electric motor, the power of the kit is 10 hp higher and is 225 hp. It also comes in an all-wheel drive version and then the power is 232 hp. The car has a sporty body styling and 19" rims. The equipment includes, among others, leather seats with electric adjustment, heating and ventilation, HUD display, JBL audio system and modern Toyota Safety Sense safety systems.

Mazda 6 (2020-2021)

Mazda 6 is a proposal for those who are looking for a combination of discreet shapes with rich equipment, comfort worthy of a limousine and dynamic engines. The Signature version we propose has a turbocharged 2.5 four-cylinder engine with 250 hp, which is paired with a 6-speed automatic. The car's equipment includes, among others, Nappa leather upholstery, wooden inserts, a HUD display, an electrically adjustable steering column, a Bose audio system with 11 speakers, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistant. BMW 3 Series (2020-2025)

The BMW 3 Series 330i xDrive is a premium class proposition. The car has four-wheel drive, and under the hood, contrary to the designation, runs a 2.0 engine supercharged with two turbochargers, which generates a maximum power of 255 hp. The car has leather seats, front seats with electric adjustment, memory and heating, automatic climate control, touch screen, Harman Kardon audio system with 16 speakers and a HUD display. The safety package includes, among others, a collision warning system with automatic braking function, rear cross traffic warning and active cruise control with urban driving function. It's the perfect combination of dynamism and prestige that comes with owning a BMW car.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class (2022-2025)

In the proposals of the premium segment, Mercedes could not be missing. In this case, it is class C of the W206 series, in the C300 4MATIC version. This is a compact sedan with all-wheel drive and a 2.0 turbo engine with 255 hp. It delivers dynamic performance and timeless Mercedes design. The car has luxury leather seats with ventilation, heating, electric adjustment and setting memory, an MBUX multimedia system with an 11.9" screen and 12.3" digital clocks and a HUD display. Driver assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, active lane keeping assistant and active braking assistant with transverse motion detection. All this makes the car elegant, fast, comfortable and safe.

Audi A4 (2020-2025)

The Audi A4 completes the German luxury holy trinity of the D segment and could not be missing from our review. The proposed version is the Premium Plus Quattro with a 2.0 TFSI engine with 201 or 261 hp. It has a virtual Audi cockpit in the Plus version, seats with electric adjustment and heating, leather upholstery, Bang & Olufsen sound system with 19 speakers. In the most powerful variant, the car accelerates to a hundred in less than 6 seconds, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The car has a full set of driver assistance systems and a 360 camera.

Volvo S60 (2020-2025)

Volvo cars are an increasingly common choice for those who expect luxury, but at the same time do not want the obvious proposals of German brands. Our proposal is the T6 AWD Inscription with a 2.0 engine with as much as 316 hp and, of course, four-wheel drive. It's the perfect combination of performance and driving confidence. The minimalist interior is finished in leather and wood. The seats are heated and ventilated. The multimedia system includes a 9" touch screen and Harman Kardon sound system. In addition to the digital display, the auto also has a digital clock set. Among the electronic assistants are adaptive cruise control, 360 camera, parking sensors and Pilot Assist system, among others. Panoramic roof gives the feeling that the interior is larger than it really is.

Tesla Model 3 (2020-2025)

Electric cars from the USA are very popular in Poland, and of course Tesla reigns. That's why the Model 3 had to be on our list. Our type is the Long Range AWD version, which has a power equivalent to 425 hp and all-wheel drive. The declared maximum range with a full battery is approx. 570 km. The control center is a 15" touch screen that supports all functions of the car. The car has heated front and rear seats, a glass panoramic roof, autopilot system, premium sound system and dual-zone climate control. This is a proposal for those who want to move fashionably and ecologically, and at the same time are fans of technological novelties.

Jaguar XE (2020-2025)

The Jaguar brand is something for lovers of classic luxury, although it has thoroughly modern shapes. A good choice is the R-Dynamic version, which is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 engine with 247 or 296 hp, which is paired with an 8-speed automatic. The available drive options are rear-axle or all-wheel drive. From the outside, the R-Dynamic version stands out with bumpers and sills maintained in a sporty design. The equipment includes leather seats with electric adjustment and ventilation, Meridian audio system, Pivi Pro multimedia system with navigation, digital instrument cluster, rear view camera and ambient interior lighting. Jaguar is a good, but still rare choice in our country, so if you want to stand out and enjoy sports performance, it is worth considering it.
